About The Position
Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Med Surg Registered Nurses for multiple travel/contract positions in Petoskey, MI. These positions are open to both local and traveler candidates. The role involves providing all aspects of nursing care for patients in Med Surg units, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, participating in patient and family teaching, and accurately recording patient information. The position also requires participation in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revising care plans based on assessments.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse: 2+ years - Required
- Straight Med Surg Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2+ years – Required
- Level II and Level I Trauma experience - Required
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- RN License for State of MI - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Nice To Haves
- Prior Travel Contract experience - Preferred
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in Med Surg units
- Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the “Caring-Quality Model.”
- Participate in patient and family teaching
- Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
- Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
