About The Position
Sage Group HealthCare Staffing is seeking Med Surg Registered Nurses for multiple travel/contract positions in Petoskey, MI. These positions are full-time, travel, contract, and temporary, with a contract length of 13 weeks. Shifts available are nights, 12 hours each, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am. The schedule guarantees 36 hours per week, 3 shifts per week, with every other weekend and possible on-call duties. The weekly gross pay ranges from $1944 to $2340, with non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipends available for qualified travelers. Local pay rates vary based on distance from the facility.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse: 2+ years - Required
- Straight Med Surg Nursing experience: Recent/Current 2+ years – Required
- Level II and Level I Trauma experience - Required
- ASN or an equivalent – Required
- RN License for State of MI - Required
- BLS Certification from AHA - Required
Nice To Haves
- Prior Travel Contract experience - Preferred
- BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide all aspects of Nursing care for patients in Med Surg units
- Collaborates with other members of the health care team to develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized written plan of care based upon a physiological, psychosocial, spiritual assessment consistent with patient/significant other’s changing needs & goals, utilizing the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and the “Caring-Quality Model.”
- Participate in patient and family teaching
- Records information concisely, accurately and completely.
- Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
