About The Position
Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for its Medicine/Surgical Unit (3 North). This is a temporary, full-time, 14-week assignment on the night shift. The Medical-Surgical Unit is a 21-bed general med surg unit that sees a variety of patients. It is a collaborative and supportive environment, ideal for nurses looking to enhance their skills. The hospital is a certified stroke center and a designated Magnet hospital.
Requirements
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required.
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification.
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide care on a 21-bed general medical-surgical unit.
- Care for a variety of patient types.
- Ensure smooth operations and quality patient care.
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.
