About The Position

Join a dynamic team in the Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit, which features 10 Labor/Delivery Rooms, 3 Triage Rooms, and 2 Operating Room Suites. The unit is staffed by a committed team of 30 Registered Nurses. Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 2 Labor and Delivery Nurses, and 1 Nursery Nurse, with patient ratios of 2 Laboring Patients per 1 RN. This unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including GE Monitoring Systems, Novii Wireless Monitoring, Spectrum IV Pumps, and CADD Epidural PCA. We utilize Meditech as our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to streamline patient care. Requirements

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• OR Scrubs for dress code adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) unit.
• Manage patient care in Labor/Delivery Rooms, Triage Rooms, and Operating Room Suites.
• Collaborate with a team of Registered Nurses, including Charge Nurses, Labor and Delivery Nurses, and Nursery Nurses.
• Adhere to patient ratios of 2 Laboring Patients per 1 RN.
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology including GE Monitoring Systems, Novii Wireless Monitoring, Spectrum IV Pumps, and CADD Epidural PCA.
• Utilize Meditech as the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Participate in unit activities and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
