About The Position

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia is hiring an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the L.D.R.P Unit. This is a temporary, full-time, 14-week assignment on the night shift. The Labor and Delivery and Postpartum Care Unit is an exciting, fast-paced environment with 22 beds (10 L&D/Triage rooms and 12 Post Partum Rooms), plus a 20-room dedicated nursery. The unit provides comprehensive care for laboring patients from admission to discharge, including labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum care. They also care for OBGYN surgical patients, such as hysterectomies and mastectomies. The unit is recognized for its top patient experience and frequently has DAISY Award winners. It is a Magnet-designated hospital and is seeking AWHONN designation.

Requirements

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
NRP
Two or more years of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery and Postpartum RN experience
