About The Position

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse provides acute care in a high-acuity women’s health environment in Fort Myers / Cape Coral, Florida. The role focuses on caring for laboring mothers, assisting with deliveries, monitoring fetal status, and supporting postpartum recovery. The nurse works with collaborative OB, anesthesia, and NICU teams in a hospital setting. The schedule is 3x12, with day or night shifts available. This is not a new graduate opportunity.

Requirements

Be a licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for Florida licensure.
Have at least 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
Be comfortable with fetal monitoring and labor management.
Thrive in a team-based women’s health environment.

Responsibilities

Care for laboring mothers throughout the delivery process.
Assist with deliveries.
Monitor fetal status.
Support postpartum recovery.
Work collaboratively with OB, anesthesia, and NICU teams.
Remain calm and confident during emergency deliveries.
