About The Position

Sentara Halifax Hospital located in South Boston, Virginia is hiring a RN Traveler for the ICU! This is a temporary full-time, 14-week assignment for the night shift. Requirements

  • Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale
  • 2 or more years of recent acute care ICU hospital RN experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  • Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
