About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting. The RN will provide emergency nursing care to patients across a wide range of acuity levels while delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong emergency nursing skills, critical thinking abilities, and the flexibility to work independently in a rural healthcare setting.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Recent Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a rural hospital environment.

Nice To Haves

• Critical Access Hospital experience.
• ACLS Certification.
• PALS Certification.
• TNCC Certification.
• Previous travel nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in emergency response and trauma care activities.
• Support patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
