Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department
About The Position
Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, Virginia is seeking a Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse for a Day Shift position in the Emergency Department. This is a 14-week assignment. The Emergency Department is equipped with 43 beds, including 11 fast-track beds. All emergency nurses are specialized, with Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric certifications. The role involves assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, administering medications, communicating with family members, and overall patient care. The position emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to improving health within the community.
Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale
- Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN ER experience
- Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field
Responsibilities
