About The Position

This role entails providing high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department, demonstrating advanced critical thinking and expertise in trauma, STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis management. The unit has 30 beds and is staffed by 49 FTE, 6 PRN, and 2 Leadership. Patient ratios are 1:5 at most, depending on acuity. The unit utilizes advanced monitors, defibrillators, ultrasound, and EKG machines. The EMR system is Meditech, transitioning to Expanse on 8/13/26.

Requirements

• Advanced critical thinking and skills
• Extensive experience with trauma, STEMI, Stroke, and Sepsis
• ENPC
• TNCC
• ACLS
• PALS
• BLS
• CPI with TIC
• Flexible scheduling with alternate weekends required
• Royal Blue scrubs and adherence to Dress Code Policy is expected
• Potential floating to two free-standing ED locations as needed

Nice To Haves

• Adult and pediatric ED experience
• NRP and STABLE certifications are a plus
