Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to handle age-restricted products.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cashiering is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service, answering questions and assisting with product location.
- Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer reconciliation, including counting cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and quantity.
- Assist with stocking shelves, rotating products, and ensuring merchandise is neatly displayed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor, checkout area, and associated facilities.
- Promote special offers, loyalty programs, and additional products to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
