Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years of age due to age-restricted sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
- Scan items, weigh produce, and enter prices for various products.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor.
- Stock shelves, rotate merchandise, and assist with inventory as needed.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and promotions.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, alcohol).
- Process lottery tickets and other specialty items as required.
- Assist in preparing and serving food items if applicable to the location.
