About The Position

As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our convenience store and fuel station, providing exceptional customer service and accurately processing transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all our guests.

Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be reliable, punctual, and have a positive, customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, inquiries, and service needs.
Accurately operate a cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, including counting change.
Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and product identification.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including the register area, lottery counter, and surrounding aisles.
Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure proper merchandising displays.
Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling issues or questions.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, age-restricted sales (e.g., tobacco, lottery), and safety.
Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
Perform opening and closing duties, such as balancing the register, preparing deposits, and securing the premises.
Assist with other duties as assigned by management to ensure smooth operation of the plaza.
