Travel Pharmacist
About The Position
A rural hospital several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a full-time Travel Pharmacist. This is a 16- or 26-week contract. The position pays $90.00 per hour, with housing and flights provided. Weekly pay and benefits are available. The pharmacist will review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, interactions, dosing, and potential adverse effects. The pharmacist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and optimize patient medication therapy plans. The location is a rural, remote town northwest of Anchorage. Requirements
- At least 2 years of hospital-based pharmacy experience as a pharmacist.
- An active pharmacy license; an Alaska license is not needed.
