Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This role supports a high-volume OR performing a wide range of surgical procedures across multiple specialties in a structured acute care environment. POSITION OVERVIEW This assignment is ideal for OR nurses with strong circulating experience who are comfortable working across multiple service lines and are open to stepping into a charge role when needed. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS • 13-week contract • Day shift 3x12s (06:45–19:15) • Weekend block available (Fri–Sun option) • Patient ratio: 1:1 :contentReference[oaicite:0]index=0 • Daily surgical volume: ~50 cases • 19 OR suites • Call required • 1 position available COMPENSATION Because travel rates change frequently based on market demand and facility needs, our recruiters provide the most current and competitive pay packages during your initial conversation. Each compensation package is customized and may include taxable hourly wages along with tax-free stipends when applicable. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Circulate surgical procedures across multiple specialties • Assist surgical teams with patient preparation and intraoperative care • Maintain sterile field and enforce infection control protocols • Manage surgical instruments, equipment, and documentation • Support specialty cases including ortho, neuro/spine, general, urology, and robotics • Participate in charge responsibilities as needed • Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams • Document patient care in EMR system WORK ENVIRONMENT • Acute care hospital OR (19 suites) • Multi-specialty surgical environment • Robotics and advanced surgical equipment onsite • Scrubs provided Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
