About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Nurse Educator – Neurosurgical ICU for an exciting Contract opportunity in Bozeman, MT. This role involves developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing education programs, facilitating new employee orientation, onboarding, and transition-to-practice programs. The educator will also support preceptor development, staff competency validation, and conduct simulation-based learning and continuing education programs. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining educational materials, promoting lifelong learning and professional growth, and fostering evidence-based nursing practice. The role supports specialty education within the Neurosurgical ICU, serves as a resource for clinical best practices and quality improvement, and assists with the implementation of new clinical procedures and standards. Additionally, the educator will support competency assessments, performance improvement activities, partner with nursing leadership to identify educational needs, mentor and coach nursing staff, and participate in interdisciplinary committees and projects to support organizational goals related to patient safety and clinical quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience and/or healthcare teaching experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of education, leadership, management, or training experience.
  • Occasional weekend and after-hours support as needed.
  • Potential on-call responsibilities.

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).

  • Neurosurgical ICU or Critical Care experience.
