About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a Level III Special Care Nursery (SCN). This role is designed for nurses who are proficient in managing high-acuity neonates with complex medical and surgical needs within a fast-paced, specialized environment. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced neonatal nurses to work within a prestigious hospital system known for its high-volume, high-quality maternal and infant care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Level III or Level IV NICU experience
- Valid RN License (Georgia or Compact)
- AHA BLS – Required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
Responsibilities
- Managing high-acuity neonates with complex medical and surgical needs
- Providing comprehensive care for infants born at Northside or transferred for surgical/medical intervention
- Utilizing RetCam (Ophthalmic imaging system)
- Operating cardiac monitors and advanced respiratory support equipment
- Working with warmer beds and specialized isolettes
