Bring preventive healthcare directly to patients where they live while working on a temporary, project-based assignment that keeps you moving. In this W-2 Temporary/Seasonal Travel Medical Assistant role, you’ll complete scheduled in-home visits across Ohio while supporting preventive care, health assessments, care-gap initiatives, and accurate visit documentation. This is a statewide travel position in Ohio. You must be comfortable traveling to assigned markets anywhere within Ohio based on project volume, patient availability, geographic coverage needs, and other business requirements. Travel may involve assignments outside your local area, and travel locations, frequency, and duration may change throughout the project based on patient and operational needs. Weekly schedules and hours are determined by project volume, patient availability, geographic needs, and other business requirements. There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours per week, and weekly hours may increase or decrease throughout the assignment depending on available work. This temporary project is expected to continue through January 2027. Employment beyond the project period is not guaranteed. If business needs continue and performance and availability remain satisfactory, the employer and employee may mutually agree to extend or renew the assignment. You’ll succeed in this role by combining strong Medical Assistant fundamentals with the flexibility required for mobile, project-based care. You’ll provide reliable clinical support during in-home visits, maintain accurate documentation, adapt as patient volume and geographic needs change, and represent the clinical team with professionalism in every home.
