About The Position

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Med Surg Charge Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves assisting the Director with daily department operations, staffing, and workflow management, while also supervising, directing, and evaluating team members. The position ensures the effective use of personnel, equipment, and resources to maintain efficient department operations and high patient care standards. The Charge Nurse will also provide direct patient care as needed, monitor patient care plans, collaborate with physicians and staff for positive patient outcomes, and support a safe, high-quality, patient-centered care environment. They will oversee staff performance and unit operations during their assigned shift.

Requirements

Current and valid state RN License
Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
Previous one year of charge nurse experience in Med Surg setting required.
PALS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities
