Travel Licensed Nurse
About The Position
Wellpath is seeking a Travel Licensed Nurse to deliver patient care within correctional healthcare settings. This role involves assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care under RN supervision. The nurse will assist with treatment plans, administer medications, and support diagnostic procedures. Key responsibilities include maintaining clinical documentation, adhering to safety protocols, participating in emergency response, and assisting with minor procedures and therapeutic diets. This position requires 100% travel to support multiple healthcare facilities as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- One (1) or more years clinic experience required
- Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) within the states of practice
- Current CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation
- Administer medications and support diagnostic testing and procedures
- Maintain safety protocols and respond to medical emergencies
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and ancillary departments
- Travel full-time to meet staffing needs across multiple sites
- Assist with minor procedures
- Implement therapeutic diets
