About The Position

The position of Travel Industry Sales Manager is a satellite sales position based in the USA. This role is responsible for communicating industry trends, business practices, and market opportunities. The primary focus is to develop assigned markets for hotels, with the main goal of capturing and growing market share from high-end leisure agencies and Preferred Partners. Revenue generation from Travel Industry accounts is the key focus of this position.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position.
  • College education in Hospitality or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 5 years of luxury hotel sales experience (preferably in travel industry).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Proficient in Golden Sales & Catering system.
  • Knowledge and professional use of social media as a tool to support business development.
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and customer service orientation.
  • Able to travel for client meetings, events, trade shows, and resort visits.
  • Minimum travel to the resort once a quarter for a one-week time period.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve room revenue goals from a defined portfolio of Travel Industry accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through travel, sales calls, events, tradeshows, and site inspections.
  • Develop and grow accounts using market intelligence, internal data, and targeted sales strategies.
  • Identify and execute educational, promotional, and business‑development opportunities to drive revenue.
  • Manage sales activities, reporting, forecasting, and account records to support overall market performance.
