About The Position

SPAR is growing its overnight construction team and is hiring full-time laborers who are hardworking and reliable. This role requires willingness to travel for extended periods and work nights from 8 PM to 6 AM. The job involves working inside home improvement retail chains, building and dealing with heavy steel racking and pallet racking. This is presented as a steppingstone to a long-term career in retail operations and construction leadership.

Requirements

Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnight 8 PM - 6 AM.
Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground as needed.
Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
Experience in using basic hand and power tools.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Appropriate work footwear required.

Responsibilities

Perform very physical construction work.
Work overnights on racking installation for big box retail stores.
Remove and replace damaged steel racking, including cantilever towers.
Build and assemble retail store shelving fixtures.
Update signage and shelf conditions.
Engage in considerable physical activity, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
