About The Position

The Warehouse General Labor will empty trash cans and plastic wrap bins, bail plastic wrap and load the trailer for recycling. You will recycle green banding, load the junk pallet trailer, clean underneath racking, run the floor sweeper/scrubber, scan rodent traps, verify fire extinguishers are charged, verify eye wash stations are operational, and other duties as needed. This employee will be responsible for primary cleaning duties as well as maintaining a safe working atmosphere by following the Company Safety Polices. Our extensive, paid 2-week training program, paired with ongoing mentorship, will provide you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed. You’ll have dedicated support to help you apply your training to daily operations, setting you up for long-term success. WOW Logistics is a drug Free Workplace, and the Warehouse General Labor position is considered a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50-60 pounds safely and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift experience is a plus, but not required – we’ll provide the training you need!

Responsibilities

  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized by emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning under racking, and maintaining common work areas.
  • Operate floor cleaning equipment, including sweepers and scrubbers, to ensure a safe and professional warehouse environment.
  • Collect, sort, and prepare recyclable materials such as plastic wrap and green banding, and load trailers for recycling and disposal.
  • Support warehouse safety programs by inspecting fire extinguishers, checking eyewash stations, and scanning rodent monitoring devices.
  • Assist with general facility and warehouse upkeep, including loading junk pallets, completing cleaning tasks, and helping with other duties as needed.
