Travel Director of Nursing | DON | RN
About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Travel Director of Nursing (DON) | RN to join their team. This role involves traveling to senior living facilities in Omaha, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, and Council Bluffs. The position is responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents, ensuring compliance with physician's orders and meeting resident needs. The DON will oversee nursing services 24/7, maintain quality standards, and assume responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator. Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state in which you are practicing.
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
- Two years of experience in a DON role required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with physician's orders and the total needs of the residents.
- 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services.
- Directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care.
- Assuming responsibility for center operations in the absence of the Administrator.
