About The Position

QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their dynamic and growing team. At QualDerm Partners, the mission is to be the nation’s premier destination for comprehensive skin and aesthetics wellness, supporting patients throughout their lifetime wellness journeys by delivering unmatched care across dermatology, skin cancer treatment, cosmetics, and plastic surgery. This is a FLOAT Medical Assistant position supporting 15+ QualDerm clinic locations across Illinois and Indiana. This role requires consistent travel between clinics and is not tied to a single office location. Candidates must be comfortable working in different clinics on a regular basis and adapting quickly to new teams and environments. As a Medical Assistant, the role involves playing a key part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a high-performing clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly flexible, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment where travel is a core part of the role.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology-specific practices
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
  • High level of discretion and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant certification preferred
  • Dermatology experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and documenting medical history
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the EHR system
  • Support both clinical and administrative functions as needed across locations
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
