About The Position

This travel program offers the opportunity to work for a single company with one recruiter from start to finish across multiple assignments. It provides competitive hourly rates, tax-free stipends (if applicable), and no mid-contract pay cuts. Employees are eligible for referral bonuses and license reimbursement for new state licenses. The program offers a selection of assignments at partner facilities within various health systems nationwide. The position is responsible for delivering efficient, quality-oriented patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs to assist medical personnel in patient diagnosis in a timely and professional manner, as ordered by a physician. This includes coordinating the procedure and transmitting images to the radiologist. CT technologists operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnosing medical conditions. They also prepare patients for these diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and correctly positioning them for image capture.

Requirements

• Current ARRT required.
• Current, valid, and active certification/licensure to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required.
• Completion of CT Technology certificate program required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels approved vendor required.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years previous experience preferred.
• Hospital experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care by producing quality diagnostic radiographs to assist medical personnel in patient diagnosis in a timely and professional manner when ordered by a physician.
• Effectively coordinate the process for ordering the procedure and transmitting the images to the radiologist.
• Operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by a physician.
