Florida Travel Correctional Registered Nurse
About The Position
The RN Travel supports patient care delivery through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of Charge Nurses. The role includes administering medications, assisting with diagnostic tests, documenting care, and supporting surgical procedures as needed. The nurse ensures compliance with safety protocols, medication-handling requirements, and clinical documentation standards. They participate in care planning, emergency response, and interdisciplinary communication. The position requires 100% travel to various locations to fulfill staffing needs. South Florida sites require 40 hours per week on variable shifts.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the states of practice and the state in which the nurse works, or a valid compact-state nurse license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Must reside in the United States.

- One or more years of clinic experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care and treatment plans under the supervision of a Charge Nurse.
- Administer medications, perform EKGs, and assist with procedures.
- Maintain accurate SOAP-format documentation and review medical records.
- Respond to emergencies and ensure safety and infection-control protocols.
- Travel full-time to different healthcare facilities as staffing needs require.
