About The Position

The Travel Coordinator is responsible for managing travel arrangement needs for professional driver and non-driver hires as needed ensuring cost-effective and seamless travel experiences. This role will collaborate with recruiters, orientation, and recruiting leadership to optimize travel solutions while adhering to company policies and budget. This role will also be responsible for completing verifications of employment for drivers who are scheduled for orientation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer Service attitude; approachability; flexibility; great communicator; ability to work with many different personalities.
  • Work in TMW, Excel, Uber, Lyft, Certify, CLC site, Flix Bus site.
  • Exemplary levels of initiative, engagement, and integrity.
  • Ability to effectively manage routine tasks and spontaneous projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a customer service setting preferred.
  • Prior experience working with dispatch software a plus.
  • Transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Booking hotels, rental cars, and other transportation as needed from terminal locations as well as interview sites.
  • Acting as a liaison between the enterprise and third-party travel company as needed.
  • Recording data accurately in company tracking systems.
  • Reporting necessary summary information out to stakeholders on daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Keeping travel within the given budget.
  • Using independent judgement on best mode of transport for team member satisfaction and cost effectiveness.
  • Completing verifications of employment for drivers who are scheduled for orientation.
