About The Position

The Military Family Life Counseling Program (MFLC) is seeking a detail oriented and customer focused Travel Coordinator to support domestic and international travel that are geographically dispersed serving mission-critical locations worldwide. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting corporate travel operations using an enterprise travel management system such as Concur Travel & Expense, Defense Travel System (DTS), or a comparable platform. This roll is responsible for coordinating end-to-end travel, maintaining accurate travel records within the system of record, processing travel authorizations and expenses, and ensuring travelers receive timely, compliant, and customer focused support throughout the travel lifecycle. This position requires U.S. Citizenship.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience supporting corporate travel operations or travel coordination.
  • Experience coordinating end-to-end corporate travel in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience using Concur, DTS, or another enterprise travel management system.
  • Experience maintaining travel data within a system of record and processing travel authorizations and expense reports.
  • Working knowledge of corporate travel policies, reimbursement processes, travel benefits, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce or government contractor environment.
  • Familiarity with Joint Travel Regulation, Fly America Act, or other government travel regulations.
  • Military, military spouse, Veteran, or Department of War travel support experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end domestic and international travel, including airfare, lodging, rental vehicles, corporate housing, and ground transportation using Concur, DTS, or a comparable travel management system.
  • Create and maintain travel authorizations, traveler records, expense reports and any updates to tracking documents while ensuring accurate data within the system of record.
  • Review and process travel expenses, resolve reimbursement issues, and ensure compliance with company policies and travel regulations.
  • Coordinate travel changes, cancellations, emergency travel, assignment transitions, and traveler accommodations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for travelers by providing guidance on travel policies, travel benefits, expense reporting, and travel systems.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Logistics, and program stakeholders to communicate travel status and support workforce mobility.
  • Maintain accurate travel documentation to support reporting, financial accountability, and audit readiness as requested.
  • Identify opportunities to improve travel processes, operational efficiency, and the overall traveler experience.
