About The Position

Pilot Company is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee high-volume retail facilities. The role involves generating and executing travel center and restaurant business plans to meet standards, sales, and profit objectives, while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for meeting customer expectations, conducting meetings with employees, and maintaining vendor relationships. This position focuses on building, coaching, managing, and developing teams through staffing, interviewing, hiring, and training. Key duties include driving sales, managing team members, tracking inventory, providing customer service, and performing P&L analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results
  • Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with P&L accountability
  • Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends and holidays
