About The Position

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Travel Business Office Manager to join their team. This role involves overseeing the financial operations of various skilled nursing facilities within their network. The manager will travel to different locations, ensuring the smooth functioning of business office operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and upholding the highest standards of fiscal responsibility. The position requires the candidate to reside in Illinois, Iowa, or Indiana.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of prior Skilled Nursing Facility Business Office Management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administrator, Business Management, Finance, or related field required.
  • RFMS/Resident Trust Fund experience.
  • Able to be collections focused.
  • Experience contacting customers or clients via phone, email and or mail to notify them of overedue payments and negotiating repayment plans.
  • Extensive experience in healthcare billing systems (e.g. PointClickCare, Epic).
  • In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Illinois/MO Medicaid, and third-party payer regulations and reimbursement processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Proven leadership abilities, including experience in team management, training, and development.
  • Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
  • Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able and willing to travel frequently; travel may include overnight stays, flexibility and willingness to accommodate travel schedules required.
  • Must reside in Illinois, Iowa, or Indiana.
