About The Position

Leisure Life Travel is seeking motivated, business-minded individuals interested in developing a professional travel business while helping clients plan memorable vacations. This is a 1099 independent contractor, commission-based opportunity. This opportunity is best suited for individuals who are comfortable with customer service, sales, marketing, client follow-up, and building long-term business relationships. No previous travel industry experience is required. Travel industry training, supplier education, mentorship, and ongoing support are provided. As a Remote Travel Advisor, you will assist clients with researching, planning, and booking cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel experiences. You will communicate directly with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, destination interests, and vacation needs. Advisors provide accurate information regarding destinations, pricing, availability, travel options, promotions, supplier policies, and reservation requirements. You will also manage reservations, maintain organized client records, monitor important booking and payment deadlines, and provide professional communication before and after travel.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with customer service, sales, marketing, client follow-up, and building long-term business relationships.
  • Comfortable talking with people, developing relationships, recommending travel options, following up with leads, and working toward individual business and sales goals.
  • Willing to market travel services and develop professional visibility within their community and online.
  • Basic knowledge of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok is helpful.
  • Coachable and willing to apply what they learn.
  • Prepared to dedicate approximately 15 hours per week to developing their travel business.
  • Reliable internet access.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willing to learn, follow up, market services, develop clients, complete training, and actively participate in growing their travel business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with researching, planning, and booking cruises, resorts, vacation packages, hotels, tours, and other travel experiences.

  • Access and use approved cruise line, resort, tour operator, vacation package, and travel supplier systems.
  • Participate in company and supplier training.
  • Continually develop knowledge of destinations, reservation systems, supplier products, travel policies, sales, marketing, and client service.
