About The Position

Starr Tours, a leading motorcoach charter and tour company, is seeking a detail-oriented Travel Advisor for its Public Tours Division. This role involves selling and servicing a variety of motorcoach vacations, including one-day excursions and multi-day trips to diverse domestic destinations. The position is based in Fairless Hills, PA, and offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm. The company fosters a team atmosphere where employees support each other and have opportunities for cross-functional learning.

Requirements

• Experience in sales, service, or administration
• Great customer service skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills — written, verbal/phone, and electronic
• Patience, kindness, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort with computers and basic accounting/math
• Self-motivation and excellent work ethic
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (written, verbal/phone, and electronic)
• Prior experience in customer service or sales roles, preferably in the tourism industry
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer inquiries and concerns
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong computer skills and ability to perform basic math calculations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
• General knowledge of travel and domestic destinations

Responsibilities

• Selling and servicing motorcoach vacations
• Making outbound calls to past travelers
• Fielding incoming calls from marketing efforts
• Calling clients for meal selections or payments
• Answering customer questions
• Proofing advertisements
• Processing mail
• Assisting with general office tasks
• Pitching in to help in other areas of the business when needed
• Assisting a Tour Director or Driver with a question
