About The Position
Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington, is seeking two advanced practice providers for supplemental locum tenens coverage with its trauma surgery team. The assignment is inpatient, with no call. Providers must be available to cover two weeks per month and be willing to work either 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m., depending on the open shift. The listed January 2027 daytime coverage periods are January 4–10 and January 18–24. The minimum required commitment is 7–14 shifts, with 12 guaranteed hours per day; overtime applies after 12 hours per day. The facility is a Level 3 Pediatric Trauma Center. Providers must be comfortable and competent consulting on pediatric cases and able to perform pediatric surgeries. Pediatric cases are expected to involve fewer than 20 cases per month. Providers may also be involved in an HMP or an endoscopic appendectomy. The assignment uses Epic and has an estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days.
Requirements
- Active license or IMLC.
- DEA registration.
- Board certification (BC only).
- Ability to perform pediatric surgeries.
- Comfort and competence consulting on pediatric cases.
- Availability to cover two weeks per month and either 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts.
- Current CV must be uploaded with the bid.
Responsibilities
