About The Position

HCA Houston North Cypress is seeking a Trauma Medical Director to lead their developing Level III Trauma Program. This 163-bed acute care hospital is committed to providing comprehensive services to the growing communities along the 290 corridor. The Trauma Medical Director will oversee a trauma service that covers most acute care surgery, with an annual ED volume of 19k and approximately 400 trauma admits annually. The program holds a Level III ACS designation and is in pursuit of a Level II designation. This role offers 24-hour call from home.

Requirements

• Board Certified General Surgery with Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Required
• Experience with ACS guidelines
• Strong leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the developing Level III Trauma Program.

• Provide 24-hour call from home.
