About The Position

The Trauma Coordinator is responsible for the oversight, coordination, and implementation of trauma-informed practices throughout the agency. This position ensures that services are delivered in alignment with trauma-informed care principles and supports staff in developing competencies related to trauma-responsive approaches. The Trauma Coordinator works collaboratively with leadership and clinical teams to enhance service delivery, compliance, and quality assurance.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field is required.
Experience working with trauma-impacted youth and families.
Experience providing clinical support, training, and consultation.
Knowledge of trauma-informed models and best practices.
Strong clinical and assessment skills
Ability to provide effective training and coaching
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership in the development and implementation of trauma-informed care practices across programs.
Support staff through training, coaching, and consultation regarding trauma-responsive interventions.
Monitor fidelity to trauma-informed models and ensure adherence to best practices.
Coordinate and facilitate trauma-related trainings for staff.
Provide direct support and guidance regarding complex trauma cases as needed.
Collaborate with clinical supervisors and program leadership to ensure alignment of services.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to support coordinated care.
Review documentation for compliance with trauma-informed standards.
Assist with data collection and reporting related to trauma-informed initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all agency policies, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
Participates in meetings to ensure priorities are clear, coordination is good and communications are open.
Cooperates and communicates as a multi-disciplined team member through formal meetings, informal discussion and other participation as necessary.
Models traits of a responsible team member, executing job responsibilities, open communication, good follow-through; supports team members to do the same.
Responds promptly to the concerns and interests of the clients, parents, guardians and funding entities and other JJC staff.
Ensures compliance with all JJC’s policies and procedures, including confidentiality and reporting suspected abuse in accordance with CPSL, 23 Pa.C.S. § § 6301—6385, and JJC policies and procedures
