About The Position
Looking for a simple side job and have an open-bed pickup truck? Ally Waste is hiring Part-Time, Night Trash Collectors (Trash Valet). Earn $40 / night (not hourly) working a short evening schedule (5 nights per week). As a Trash Valet, each evening, you will collect tied trash bags from apartment doorsteps and take them to the community dumpster. You play an important role in helping keep apartment communities clean and running smoothly. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday Evenings Start Time: 8pm Shifts typically take 1-2 hours per night (around 5-10 hours per week) Pay: $40 / night What you'll do: Walk the apartment community collecting tied trash bags from residents' doorsteps Transport bags to the designated dumpster area Take and upload photos in our company app Follow safety guidelines using provided personal protective equipment (PPE) Work independently outdoors in all weather conditions OUR IDEAL TRASH COLLECTOR Respectful - respects those in the community, property, and our business Thorough - doesn't cut corners Self-motivated - able to work independently Pride in your work - desire to ensure customer satisfaction If these ideal apartment trash valet traits describe you, please continue reading! As a trash valet, you are one of our main workers and without you, we could not meet our client's needs. You work at an apartment complex, collecting trash bags from apartment doorsteps and taking them to the dumpster. Don't worry about the mess, bags are already tied and we provide personal protective equipment (PPE). You take and email pictures for daily reports. You enjoy the physical activity of walking up and down stairs each day. Your hard work and self-motivation can lead to future management opportunities!
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License & Proof of Auto Insurance with you listed as a covered driver
- Reliable transportation – Open Bed Pickup Truck Preferred
- Smartphone
- Ability to carry up to 30lbs
- Ability to walk stairs and be active for 1-2 hours
