Part-Time Evening Trash Collector
About The Position
Pro Valet is hiring part-time evening Trash Collectors to service apartment communities in the Houston, Texas 77055 area. The role offers a consistent route and schedule, with most team members working one to four hours per evening depending on community size. Compensation is $400 to $1,300 per month, or $20 to $65 per service night, depending on community size, under a flat-rate pay structure. Paid training is provided, and immediate openings are available. Collectors gather bagged trash and recycling from residents’ doorsteps and transport it to the community’s on-site dumpster or compactor area. The work involves walking the community during service hours, working independently, and following company policies and safety procedures. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday evenings, starting at 8:00 PM, with Fridays and Saturdays off. A pickup truck, trailer, or utility van is required. This is a contractor (1099) position.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Must have a pickup truck, trailer, or utility van.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Smartphone for work communication.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
