About The Position

Transports patients throughout the hospital for a variety of services, and assists with patient care duties as delegated by a registered nurse. This is a part-time position requiring 16 hours per week, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The role also requires working two holidays per year.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No experience required.
• No supervisor experience required.
• No certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients throughout the hospital.
• Assists with in-coming helicopter transports.
• Transports deceased patients to the morgue.
• Responds to all code blue (cardiac or respiratory arrests) situations and initiates chest compressions.
• Responds to patient falls and other emergent situations.
• Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
