About The Position

Transports newborn, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients to the Radiology Department. Collects and deposits soiled linen in appropriate areas, orders supplies, and assists technologists with moving patients. Aids the technologist in radiographic film processing and performs other non-technical duties as required. Has no access to patient health information.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Experience or appropriate capabilities as determined by the Director of Radiology.
• Ability to move patients, push wheelchairs and stretchers, and lift film-processing supplies.
• Must pass the basic FIT test for the position, including the ability to walk, kneel, stand, push, pull, bend, stoop, reach, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Radiology and/or patient care experience desired.
