About The Position

This position is responsible for transporting patients throughout the hospital under the direction of the registered nurse. The Transporter provides supplies and equipment required for patient care and participates in monitoring equipment safety, maintenance, and cleanliness.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• Ability to exercise initiative within scope of practice and benefit from constructive criticism.
• Knowledge of the role and ability to respond to Emergency Codes.

Nice To Haves

• Completed EMT course preferred.
• Previous successful experience verified by reference check.
