Requirements

Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
High School diploma or Equivalent (required for hires starting April 2014).

Nice To Haves

Transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Transports patients to and from the Radiology Department.
Performs darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties.
Performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients.
Files patient reports, retrieves patient records for physicians or medical records.
Demonstrates adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology.
Demonstrates good telephone etiquette and is able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.
