About The Position

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for ensuring annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and product loss and damage. This role ensures a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully. The supervisor assists in developing the daily operating plan, including equipment maintenance and driver work schedules, to meet or exceed customer delivery needs, and promptly solves problems to the maximum satisfaction of customers. Additionally, the Transportation Supervisor provides development to supervisory and driver staff, potentially leads various committees (such as quality and safety), and partners with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience OR High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
