Responsibilities

  • Leading and optimizing pickup execution, placard compliance, and LabPort operational performance within the managed transportation network.
  • Ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant pickup visibility across laboratory and healthcare logistics flows, with a strong emphasis on exception prevention, data integrity, and carrier accountability.
  • Overseeing daily operations related to pickup placard generation, validation, and execution, as well as LabPort performance management, ensuring adherence to customer SLAs, regulatory requirements, and UPS Healthcare quality standards.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with operations, carriers, LabPort teams, and customers to proactively identify risks, resolve systemic issues, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Managing and developing a team responsible for standardized transportation processes, leveraging analytics, transportation management systems (MxTMS), and operational dashboards to improve pickup reliability, reduce service failures, and enhance end‑to‑end shipment visibility.
  • Playing a critical part in escalation management, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action execution, ensuring sustainable performance improvements across the network.
