About The Position

We’re seeking a compassionate Patient Transporter to provide essential transportation support for our patients during their recovery journey. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients travel safely from pickup to their necessary destinations. This part-time position, located in Gulf Breeze, FL, involves on-site work and travel, and requires an empathetic, responsible, adaptable, dependable, communicative, and professional individual to interact with patients and staff, ensuring seamless coordination and a secure environment.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 23 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
• Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality standards.
• Relevant certifications in CPR or first aid are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from the Gulf Breeze, FL facility.
• Operate a company-provided vehicle responsibly, including completing maintaining cleanliness, and promptly reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a secure and professional environment during transport, adhering to all policies and protocols.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate patient schedules and report any concerns.
