We are recruiting our future Transport & Commission Transport Manager H/F (declared by name to the DREAL/DRIEAT, holder of the dual professional transport and commission capacity) to join the DAHER LOGISTICS Operational Directorate. Leading the national scope, you will lead and coordinate the network of planners and freight forwarders. You will be the guarantor on a regulatory level of operations and will ensure their supervision.

Requirements

  • Holder of a Master's degree in Logistics or Transport
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Solid knowledge of transport operations and logistics management
  • Strong ability to plan, organize, and coordinate transport activities
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with transport partners
  • Proficiency in national and international transport regulations
  • Ability to solve problems and make quick, informed decisions
  • Good command of IT tools and transport monitoring and management systems
  • Professional English proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the compliance of the vehicle fleet
  • Supervise the assignment of drivers and vehicles
  • Pilot the monthly chronotachograph analysis
  • Ensure the social compliance of drivers
  • Define and enforce safety procedures
  • Ensure an organization that allows local managers to report wear or degradation issues of loading tools and transport equipment to technical services to ensure the proper functioning of a fleet (trucks, trailers, rigid trucks, semi-trailers, etc.) and machines
  • Functionally manage "rolling" and "sedentary" teams
  • Supervise the compliance of freight forwarding confirmations
  • Referencing and qualification of subcontractors
  • Control payment deadlines for carriers
  • Maintain the operations register
  • Prevent any unauthorized re-freighting
  • Manage disputes and claims
  • Participate in the design, service methods of the subcontracting chain, and implementation conditions with customers and transport providers
  • Guarantee a quality objective (services, costs, deadlines) and compliance (adherence to transport regulations, subcontracting contracts, safety standards, established processes) by defining monitoring indicators
  • Deploy alternative solutions or support regions in deploying alternative solutions in case of carrier deficiencies
  • Lead and coordinate the network of planners and freight forwarders, deploy the transport activity planning methodologies of Daher Logistics
  • Ensure internal animation and communication with teams
  • Ensure regulatory monitoring
  • Pilot the compliance dashboard and deadlines
  • Conduct team training plans
  • Contribute to the economic performance of activities
  • Be the point of contact for controls and audits
  • Maintain good customer relations
  • Support sales teams in responding to tenders, particularly on the technical and pricing aspects
  • Support legal departments in managing journey incidents and goods disputes
  • Participate in the development of monitoring dashboards, populate them, and propose areas for improvement
  • Participate in the construction and monitoring of the budget
  • Propose or define optimization strategies for transport resources and lines
  • Propose or define optimization strategies for all transport subcontracting contracts
  • Implement defined policies for transport and freight forwarding, develop operational action plans
  • Contribute to the improvement of policies and procedures across their entire scope
