Requirements

18+ Years of Age
Valid Drivers License
Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking locations, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, restricted areas, and pedestrian traffic, assisting with badge checks, directional support, and reporting suspicious behavior and/or unattended property.
Support security-related operations at a government location by following post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with crowd management during busy travel periods and/or special situations.
