As a Transportation Security Guard: Full Time Airport Patrol Customer Support in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Requirements
- 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned airport areas, terminal exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, unauthorized entry, hazardous conditions, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with airport personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public.
