Transportation Project Manager
About The Position
Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. (KVE) is an award-winning engineering firm seeking a transportation-focused Project Manager to lead transportation projects (roadway, highways, and municipal infrastructure) from design through construction. The Project Manager will manage transportation projects (DOT, roadway, and municipal) from start to finish, serve as the main point of contact for clients and agencies (KDOT, local municipalities), oversee design, plans, specs, and permitting, and keep projects on schedule, within budget, and moving forward. This role also involves coordinating internal teams and mentoring junior staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
- PE license (or close to obtaining)
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
- Experience with DOT standards, roadway design, and permitting
- Strong client-facing and project leadership skills
