About The Position
Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. (KVE) is an award-winning engineering firm seeking a transportation-focused Project Manager to lead transportation projects (roadway, highways, and municipal infrastructure) from design through construction. This role offers a strong pipeline of transportation work, high visibility with clients and leadership, real project ownership, and a growth path into senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering
- PE license (or close to obtaining)
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
- Experience with DOT standards, roadway design, and permitting
- Strong client-facing and project leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Manage transportation projects (DOT, roadway, and municipal) from start to finish
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and agencies (KDOT, local municipalities)
- Oversee design, plans, specs, and permitting
- Keep projects on schedule, within budget, and moving forward
- Coordinate internal teams and mentor junior staff
